Summary: Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Administrative Supervisor will oversee administrative and office operations. In addition, the Administrative Supervisor will serve as Safety/Workman's Compensation and Infection Control Coordinator.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Maintenance of local personnel and medical records and database.
Oversee/develop process for administration of the controlled substance program.
Oversee support services personnel and ordering of supplies.
Maintain and modify, as requested, the Personnel Policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
Act as Liaison with support departments.
Maintain Master Field crew schedule for System and Non System rosters.
Receive/track incoming service issue calls (ie complaints and appreciation) and assist callers with information requests/lost items.
Prepare and compile various periodic reports and documents for review and analysis by Operations Manager. These may include weekly vehicle maintenance, dispatch discrepancies, tag accuracy, city and county reports, payroll statistics, employee statistics, call volume and other related reports.
Assist in the facilitation of employee recruitment, hiring, and orientation process to include Field Orientation.
Oversee the major inventory control i.e. LP12, laptop computers, portable radios, etc.
Responsible for ePAN system and personnel changes to include step increases and LOA's.
Monitor Workder Compensation paperwork and track employees including TEA assignments.
Perform duties of Infectious Disease Control Officer.
Perform duties of Safety Officer and coordinate safety related functions/committees.
Must be able to function as a field paramedic performing direct ALS patient care activities. Must be able to drive an ambulance and have a driving record in compliance with AMR policy regarding insurability.
Covers scheduled PTO shifts for System supervisors.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

SUPERVISORY
Responsibilities:
Supervise payroll, scheduling, support services and business office functions.
Assist with employee investigations and grievance hearings.
Mentor employees, conduct performance evaluations if applicable, counsel and provide disciplinary actions to assigned personnel with a goal of developing a team oriented approach with positive results.
Assist in driving performance management.

MINIMUM
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Must be at least 18 years of age. Minimum of two (2) years' experience with office related duties and two (2) years related supervisory and/or workman's compensation experience. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Publisher software programs required. Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Quality training and proficiency experience is also required. Two years related ALS EMS or healthcare experience preferred. Bachelor's degree is also preferred.
