Current Health Care Provider CPR certificate required. Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures a must. Strong customer service and communication skills required. Valid CA driver's license and clean driving record required.Job Duties: Work out of West Sacramento in our mobile division to perform all activities of blood and automated blood collection which include: labeling of bags & specimen tubes; skin preparation; phlebotomy; care of unit of blood, and donor before, during and after venipuncture. Perform donor registration and medical interview to evaluate donor eligibility to donate blood based on written Standard Operating Procedures. Perform Charge Nurse duties as scheduled. Prepare and pack blood for transport or delivery to lab. Perform quality control of equipment and maintain supplies.Other Requirements: Must be able to work variable hours, days and overtime (incl early mornings and eves) and weekends (mostly Saturday). Must have dependable transportationPRIMARY PURPOSE:Under direct supervision, this position is responsible for performing all duties related to the efficient, safe, and compliant collection of blood and blood products. Works collaboratively as a member of the team and in alignment with the values of the organization. Performs Apheresis Red Cell Collection and/or Plasma Pheresis. Performs Platelet Pheresis and/or Therapeutic Apheresis.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Performs all assigned duties in compliance with internal SOPs and external regulations. Brings compliance issues to the attention of management.Assures quality customer service to all customers.Maintains good attendance and punctuality per the absence policy.Performs all duties related to the collection and handling of blood and blood products (e.g., computerized medical screening, phlebotomy, load, set-up, tear down, pack blood, advanced eligibility calculations, and daily quality control).Communicates all pertinent information effectively and timely. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
