Dock Workers - Part time
Job
Responsibilities:
Captures and loads due freight.
Ensures the loading quality of all trailers.
Helps the supervisor to ensure that all load out cut times are being met.
Coordinates with the supervisor to promote and run a productive shift.
Assists with coordinating freight, information, and people in a systematic way to optimize efficiency while minimizing duplication of effort.
Assists the supervisor by taking all necessary steps in the closeout preparation of a trailer.
Eligibility Requirements:
Must be able to read, write and speak English
Ability to work in extremely hot or cold climates where noise and odors may be present.
Able to walk on non-forgiving surfaces such as concrete, wood or metal and at times on wet and slippery surfaces.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
