Performs all aspects of circuits, components, assemblies, instrument or product line assessment testing by following detailed test procedures.
May provide support and direction to lower level technicians.
Evaluates test results for compliance to specification and communicates deviations or nonconformance.
Uses initiative and technical skill to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair.
May be involved in moderately complex investigations.
Identifies and communicates conditions that might effect the quality or integrity of the product.
Attentive to opportunities for continuous improvement makes recommendations for alternatives and proposes solutions to problems.
Minimum Education and
Experience:
Technical know how -possesses specialized skills & knowledge related to job.
Prefer a background in molecular biology & experience with instrumentation including capillary electrophoresis & GC/mass spectrometer; Effective communication -furnishes, obtains & demonstrates understanding of moderately complex information & reports; Teamwork - fulfills responsibilities & supports team members within a professional environment.
BS in Life Science preferred.
