Job Description

A West Sacramento based client is seeking a motivated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join an FQHC community health practice.
An ideal candidate should practice excellent, evidence-based patient care, and should be comfortable treating all ages.
Applicants should have 3 years of experience to apply and have experience in family medicine and basic women s health.

Required Qualifications

  • CA NP license
  • DEA certificate before start date
  • CPR certification
  • Board certified in field
  • 3
    years of experience

Responsibilities

  • Assess and diagnose a variety of diseases and injuries in patients of all ages
  • Order diagnostic tests and laboratory studies, interpret results and create treatment plans based on results
  • Perform therapeutic procedures with prioritizing preventative care
  • Arrange referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services for patients on caseload
  • Document all patient encounters efficiently and according to organization policy
